Flower Braids and Wreaths
intergenerational workshop
Everybody is invited to join the braiding workshop, a positive experience for all the senses. We will collect flowers from the nearby meadows, learn how to handle mash grass and braid it together in wreaths. Mateja Kavčič is a visual artist who practices painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, spatial installations and land art. In her works she expresses her deep admiration for nature. She finds inspiration in nature’s circular movements, eternal repetition, change of seasons and its harmonic entirety. She also participates in restoration projects and runs creative workshops.
