Carla Derpic & Gabo Guzmán

Carla Derpic (quena and quenacho) and Gabo Guzmán (guitar) offer a route through various moments of Bolivian music; the past communicating with any present. A conversation between the quena, an heir of indigenous cultures from the Andes, and the guitar, treasurer of the Spanish heritage Testimony of an ancient conversation. We play music from the so-called Bolivian neo folklore. We interpret : already classical pieces from the quenist repertory of this country. Moreover, we play music from current composers. Cuecas, taquiraris, carnavalitos, huayños, morenadas, bolivian songs, among others accompany this selection.
