3:rma

feminist folk duo

3:rma is an original project by guitar player Urška Supej and singer Maša But. The project builds a bridge between music and poetry, in which you can hear traces of jazz, pop, and folk and discusses topics such as feminism, relationships, faith, etc. They draw inspiration from musicians like Bob Dylan, Laura Marling, Leonard Coen, poets Edna St. Vincent Millay, and May Sarton, and the writings of Simone de Beauvoir, Virginia Woolf, etc. Their songs display the contrast between simple melodies and complex topics like the struggle between the ideal and reality, through which they encourage the discussion about issues often overheard or put aside by society. 3:rma's performance is a soothing and empowering experience. The intimate musical venture will take the listener on a journey through the world of poetry, the landscape of three-part harmonies and open a window to discussions about important, but not talked-about topics.
