Argentinian Folklore

The “bombo legüero” is the most representative instrument of Argentinean folklore. The name comes from the word “legua” (or league, the unit of measure) because of its great sound projection. People say that in ancient times communities living in the mountains used it to communicate with each other. Artists Gaby Echevarria (based in London, UK) and Ailén Heredia (based in Santa Fe, Argentina) will get together to share LEGÜERAS, a concert based on Argentinean original, based both on traditional Argentinean music and Singer-song writer styles, with their feminine touch.
